The 2018 edition of the Swiss Python Summit is over. We had the chance to watch 9 great talks from different fields, all having in common that they had some connection to the Python programming language.
Thanks to all helpers and also to the attendees, you all made this conference possible!

It's official, The Swiss Python Summit 2018 will take place on February 16th, 2018 at HSR University of Applied Sciences in Rapperswil.
The event will last the whole day from around 08:00 until 17:00, followed by an apéro / social event. Have a look at our program!
This summit is all about the programming language you love! Discover the wide field of Python applications, hear how others use the language and meet Swiss Pythonistas. The conference is suited for all skill levels, from early beginners to expert developers.
The conference will take place at the beautiful campus of the HSR University of Applied Sciences Rapperswil, right next to the lake!

After the nice experience of EuroPython 2015, a small group of enthusiasts came up with the idea of organizing a Swiss Python Conference. After a few meetings and discussions, we organized a small, one-day, single-track and very-low-cost event. We expected around 50 people, but 130 signed up. It was a great success, so we decided to continue organizing the conference.
