**Description** Although I would really miss being logged as @fabpot: <img width="413" alt="Screenshot 2021-10-11 at 15 58 31" src="https://user-images.githubusercontent.com/7502063/136802807-bbc212b8-818b-44f1-912b-44dc4b18d96a.png"> The AppVeyor build is constantly failing for some time now and AFAIK we can use GHA to achieve the same goal, hopefully with less problems. Should we give it a try?
