I'm waiting for symfony/symfony#8451 to be merged as it introduces severe changes, then I'll write some doc about it.

I can be wrong, but the feature was new in 2.3 and the changes are for 2.4. That means we should document it for 2.3 without the changes, shouldn't we?

In #3430, @weaverryan states that it probably makes no sense in documenting this. I tend to agree with him, so I'm going to close this issue.

If you have another opinion, you can (as always) just leave a comment in this issue or the PR :)
