Suggestion

Right now, https://typescript-eslint.io/#financial-contributors includes an auto-generated list of top financial sponsors to the project via Open Collective. It's a beautiful list and we're truly thankful to the sponsors. Without funding, this project just wouldn't be able to exist in its current form. 💚

Since that Financial Contributors section was set up, we've actually started receiving non-trivial income via two other aggregator services:

Although Tidelift doesn't provide sponsor breakdowns1, at least thanks.dev has the ability internally to report on where that money came from. We should hook up our contributor recognition plumbing to these sources too (if possible) in case any individuals or organizations have hit the threshold for recognition on typescript-eslint.io.

Sibling issue to #7949. That one is for for donations that don't come through an aggregator service at all; this one is for factoring in donations from other aggregator services.

Footnotes

  1. I asked in a private maintainers Slack and got confirmation that sponsorship in Tidelift right now is confidential.
