We've managed to reach agreement on a significant portion of the syntax, but not quite all of it. Therefore, we will be asking the WG at the meeting to make a preferential choice between four different options, which stem from a few starting questions and have various consequences. While we certainly have our own preferences among these options, all of the options we're presenting are at least acceptable to both of us.
Our intent is that by the end of this meeting, we will have exactly one complete syntax proposal to act as our starting point. This should allow for further conversation and work on the syntax to proceed as possible modifications to a full proposal, rather than always considering everything.
If you're not able to make it to the meeting yourself, we would still appreciate feedback on your preferences among the available options. If you'd prefer to submit your preferences anonymously, please get in touch with @eemeli for a link to the poll we'll be using during the meeting.
