Hi,
I am trying to install WinPython 3.9.5.0 (64bits) on a Windows 7 pro/business laptop.
The all installation process went well, but when I want to start "Python" (WinPython Command Prompt).
it starts by opening a "Command Interpreter" window and the prompt is appearing and that's it. I cannot obtain "Python" prompt even when I type "python.bat" or when I type "pyhton" or use auto-completion "python.bat" nothing is coming...
When I start "WinPython Control Panel" there is a "popup" coming complaining because it doesn't find "api-ms-win-core-path-l1-1-0.dll". Its the same for "Spyder" and few others..
Any ideas ?
I've found a "api-ms...dll" on Internet but I don't know if it's really secure to use it. It says version 6.3.6900.16384
is there someone who can explain me how to deal with this "dll" problem, please ?
I've already WinPython3.8.5.0 and 3.8.7.0 working well. I do not understand why 3.9.5.0 does not..
Thanks in advance for your help and advices
PS: I've just installed Winpython3.9.8.0post1.exe and it's not working as well... with same problems.. why ?
