Whats the difference between these 2 packages?

I guess "dot" requires .NET.

But which version of .NET?

@pstein: "small" means less packages pre-installed.

I think this issue can be closed.

From https://winpython.github.io/, it is clear that less packages come pre-installed. But, from interface perpective, is there any difference? The Spyder and PyQt5 both are known for their DataScience bundle of Jupyter and GUI for python-based app.

I think table of comparison should be helpfull for new user.

Winpythondot: 4 packages (on top of the minimal possible)

WinPython not dot: 600 packages + nodejs + pandoc

one is a pocket swiss knife
the other a big kitchen

Thanks. I think this can be closed. A better solution is to add link in README.md and info in GitHub release about the comparison.
