I use the latest WinPython (3.5.2.1Qt5 64 Bit) on Windows 10. I still get some settings on the User Personal Folder:

Why do you think so? By the way, this might be a hint, in Spyder, when one goes to Tools -> Current User Environment Variables it seems some of the variables are Windows Default. Thank You. |
Just got bit by this issue. I tried to remove the "settings" directory according to the documentation, but it didn't work. Either the code or the documentation should be adapted to be aligned. |
If you modify initial .settings/winpython.ini, you may do what you want. |
