PostgreSQL package pg8000 is already included but this does not support SSPI authentication. Is there a chance to see package psycopg in future releases?

It's a question of global WinPython installer size + interest from user base or a maintainer.

I don't see PostgreSQL that often on Windows environnements, between SQLite and SqlServer/Oracle/MySql

asyncpg looks promising. But currently there is no Windows package on https://pypi.python.org/pypi/asyncpg and I can not see if SSPI will be supported. I will check later again.

asyncpg has windows packages now, waiting cgohlke blessing
