VCO has the greatest lauric acid level of the two oils, with 53.70-54.06%, compared to regular coconut oil of 2.81% and palm oil of 0.45%. VCO is advantageous for health due to its high lauric acid concentration, which also increases endurance and hastens the healing of sickness. Coconut, which comprises water, protein, and fat, is a key component in the production of VCO. These three substances are an emulsion in which the emulsifier is a protein. A chemical known as an emulsifier serves to thicken or stabilize the emulsion. To prevent the blending of the oil and water droplets, a thin layer of coconut fruit protein will bind the droplets of coconut oil. If the emulsion bond is compromised, oil will leak out. On a small scale, centrifugation, fermentation, and enzymatic processes can be used to dissolve the emulsion.

It involves the connection between self-confidence, motivation, and overall success in academics. This study aims to investigate the potential relationship between self-esteem and academic performance among college students taking a Purposeful Communication class. Using a standardized self-esteem questionnaire adapted from Rischi (2017), a descriptive-correlational research design was employed with a sample size of 100 participants selected through registered quota sampling. The findings indicate that students' self-esteem was categorized as average, while their academic achievement in the purposeful communication class was outstanding. The correlation analysis revealed a weak correlation (r=0.12) between self-esteem and academic performance, rejecting the null hypothesis. These results emphasize the significance of considering self-esteem as a factor that may impact students' academic success, highlighting the need for interventions to foster positive selfesteem and promote both motivation and engagement in the learning process. Further research is recommended to explore additional factors influencing the relationship between self-esteem and academic performance.

In a similar direction, this study examined psychological capital as a predictor of job involvement among secondary school teachers in NorthWest Senatorial District of Benue State, Nigeria. The study adopted cross-sectional survey design. Participants were 354 teachers comprising of 195(55.1%) males and 159(44.9%) females randomly sampled from 40 secondary schools. Teachers' Job Involvement Scale (TJIS) and Psychological Capital Questionnaire were used for data collection. Results of Multiple Linear Analysis revealed that psychological capital is an important factor in predicting job involvement of secondary school teachers. Particularly, resilience is the most important component of psychological capital with positive influence on job involvement and its two dimensions. Hope and optimism are also important psychological capital components but only predict emotional and not physical job involvement. Finally, self-efficacy seems to be less important component of psychological capital with no significant independent influence on both physical and emotional job involvement dimensions. It is concluded that psychological capital enhances job involvement. Therefore, curriculum developers in teachers' colleges should incorporate training courses targeted at developing psychological capital of teachers in order to enhance their job involvement during professional practice.

Depending on the extent to which a person knows a language, we can distinguish symmetrical and asymmetrical, autonomous and combined bilingualism. Particularly important in the case of translation asymmetric bilingualismwhen one language is known to a greater extent, and combined bilingualismwhen speech is built based on the native language. The aim of this article is to identify syntactic errors in the English translations of Azerbaijani students and find solutions to them. We will therefore primarily consider negative syntactic interference since it is the negative transfer that creates noticeable difficulties for translation. In translation, interference is expressed by a violation of the syntactic norms and rules of the studied foreign language under the influence of the transfer of skills and abilities of the native language. Students often make this mistake when harmonising the grammatical units of one language in accordance with the grammatical structures of another, or when they do not follow a certain rule in one language due to its absence in another. Syntactic interference describes violations in terms of typological differences and functioning. In order to establish interference, it is necessary to consider the features of each of the interacting languages. Comparative analysis of English and Azerbaijani languages helps to compare and see the main inconsistencies in the two language systems, to find the main errors in the foreign language speech of Azerbaijanspeaking students. For this purpose, the students were offered two types of tasks: translation from Azerbaijani into English and vice versa. A study of the students' translations showed that the most typical errors are errors at the level of the sentence structure.

Leishmaniasis is third in importance among vector-borne diseases worldwide, behind malaria and sleeping sickness. Leishmaniasis is treated with a variety of drugs, however side effects and drug resistance have been noted. There are countless opportunities to find new drugs to cure infectious diseases by researching plant remedies. Some plant medicines and natural products have a new candidate for treatment of leishmaniasis. Medicinal plants are believed to be an important source of new chemical substances with potential therapeutic effects. This review work is focused on the therapeutically active plants which are used in the treatment of leishmaniasis and have less side effects and less cost.

Initially at the inception of the pandemic, during the periods of lockdown, the elective dental treatment was halted and advice, analgesia and antimicrobials were preferred to manage the dental emergencies. Some patients could not be successfully managed with this approach and required face-to-face consultation. Therefore, dental emergency assessment via telephonic triage, Covid 19 screening and strict adherence to standard operating protocols for the patient, operatory and dentist were ensured while providing dental treatment based on minimum intervention and restraining from aerosol generating procedures. Now three years from the commencement of the pandemic, calls have been made for gradual return to regular clinical practice with extra precautions. Due to the emergence of new variants and ongoing easing and reimplementation of restrictions, it remains imperative to mitigate the risk of disease transmission during the dental treatment. Thus, this article provides an insight into the clinical protocols for the management of endodontic emergencies in the Covid 19 era, making the dentist better prepared to provide dental care in the patient’s best interest during such pandemic disease outbreaks now and in future.

They are para vertebral in position, provided with valves and drain most of the blood from the thoracic and posterior abdominal walls. They communicate with the venacaval system in front and vertebral plexus behind. It connects the superior vena cava with the inferior vena cava. The azygous vein is inconstant in the mode of origin. Aim: To explore the anatomical variations in the course of azygous system of veins. Material and methods: The present study was done in the Department of Anatomy, Apollo institute of Medical sciences and Research, Hyderabad over a period of 2 years. The present study was conducted on 12 cadavers (irrespective of age and sex). The course of the azygos venous system in these 12 cadavers was carefully observed and documented. Results: Anatomical variation was found in two cadavers. Discussion: The azygous system of veins arises from a pair of longitudinal venous lines called right and left azygous venous lines on each side of the aorta1. On each side of the azygous venous lines lies two parallel primitive lines called right and left sub cardinal and posterior cardinal veins. It forms an important route for collateral circulation in venacaval occlusion such as in portal hypertension. It serves as the main collateral channel to shunt the blood from the upper half of the body to the inferior venacaval in case of superior vena caval obstruction. Conclusion: Identification and understanding of these variations are important during preoperative radiological investigations and surgical procedures especially spinal surgery between T7 and T12 to avoid injury which may lead to postoperative haematomas.

The present study was aimed at finding the prevalence, serotyping, RAPD and Setyping of Listeria ... more The present study was aimed at finding the prevalence, serotyping, RAPD and Setyping of Listeria monocytogenes in raw chicken meat purchased from different retail outlets and local butcher shops across the Nagpur city. Cultural examination of 100 raw poultry meat samples, revealed the prevalence of Listeria spp. (35 %). L. grayi was predominant (15 %) among the isolates followed by L. monocytogenes (12 %), L. welshimeri (5 %), L. innocua (2 %) and L. seeligeri (1%) respectively. Among the majority of strains of L. monocytogenes, virulence marker genes hlyA and iap, all together or in combination were detected. Serotyping PCR study revealed that all L. monocytogenes isolates to be serotype 4b, which is the major serotype involved in the human listeriosis. RAPD PCR analysis of L. monocytogenes isolates revealed two types of banding patterns. All 35 strains of Listeria showed in-vitro susceptibility to antibiotics like vancomycin (93.88 %) ceftriaxone + Tazobactum (92.71%) and moderate sensitivity to enrofloxacin (38.78 %), ceftriaxone (34.90%) and ampicillin (34.69 %). Whereas, all the isolates were least sensitive to erythromycine (6.49%) and sulphasomidine (4.08 %). All the Listeriae isolates were refractory to penicillin. The present findings indicate the presence of multiple drug resistance among L. monocytogenes and other Listeria spp. isolated from raw poultry meat samples. Potentially pathogenic L. monocytogenes isolates recovered from raw poultry meat samples also signifies the zoonotic potential of listeriosis in the local area of Nagpur. High prevalence of L. monocytogenes and other Listeria spp. in raw poultry meat and their sensitivity to the antibiotics tested, clearly indicates that vancomycin and ceftriaxone +tazobactam should be used as a drug of choice for treatment of listeriosis.
