I am Sara from Gaza, a father of three children and the sole provider for my 70-year-old mother, who suffers from chronic illnesses such as high blood pressure and diabetes. I lost my home completely due to the war. The war has ended, but the suffering has only become clearer. We returned to the rubble of our home, left with nothing—no shelter, no source of income—after losing my job, which was our only means of survival.
