I make this all time. So healthy and delicious! My version is frozen mixed berries, oikos vanilla Greek yogurt, honey, a lil water & milk. I also throw in a scoop of vanilla protein powder. Blend in my magic bullet. Takes 5 minutes!!!
Blueberry Muffin Smoothie
1 1/4 cup skim milk 1 cup frozen blueberries 1/4 cup oats ~ quick or old fashioned 1 scoop vanilla whey protein powder 1/4 frozen banana, sliced 1/2 tsp cinnamon 1/2 tsp vanilla extract 6 ice cubes 1 packet Equal or favorite sweetener (or to taste)
As good as any thick, creamy milkshake out there, but so much better for you! Only 180 calories made with vanilla protein powder mixed with cup of water, add 1 cup frozen strawberries and a Greek yogurt (I use vanilla or banana cream) for a flavorful, high protein, low fat meal replacement or satisfying treat! Yum!!!
Oatmeal/Peanut Butter/Yogurt Recipe: 1 cup cooked oatmeal (cold), 1/2 cup Vanilla Greek Nonfat Yogurt, 1-2 tablespoons peanut butter -Microwave PB for 25 seconds -Stir in yogurt until mixed well -Add oatmeal -ENJOY! (Cold oatmeal is great substitute for granola...less fat!)
