I took four of these palettes from Dollar Tree and painted them with Snow White Chalk Bait by Waverly. I covered them completely giving them two coats. Once they were completely dry I took two of them and started by placing some hot glue on the backside of the palette. And then placing those two together in the shape of an L. I then take these wooden cubes from Dollar Tree. And hot glue them to the pieces where they connect for extra stability. Again adding hot glue to the backside of another palette and placing it against another. Then place the last one in by adding the hot glue onto the two palettes on the inside. Then carefully putting that one in there. Onto the hot glue and then put the wooden cubes on the inside again. And so I don't see that unfinished wood. I go back in with the same paint and paint those cubes. Next I take four craft sticks and I'm cutting them down so they fit on the inside. This will be the bottom and I'm just using some visker shears to cut those down. I take one and use that as my guide to cut the rest. And hot glue the ends of those and glue them down inside the palettes. I also go back through and paint those as well. Next I'm taking this red and white ribbon and hot gluing it around the crate. I also take this snowflake and add a tiny bit of hot glue to that and add it to the ribbon. Then place in these pics I got from Hobby Lobby as well as some lambs here pics from Walmart.
