The fashion world may often inhabit its own bubble, but fashion doesn't exist in its own vacuum. Designers are influenced by other designers, past and present, whether they realize it or not—and whether they admit it or not.

LAFORMELA was founded in 2010 as a Czech and Slovak independent fashion brand. The designers' project grew to a renowned brand, that offers unique ready-to-wear clothing and accessories. Aesthetics of the main designers, Antonin Soukup and Miroslava Kohutiarova, is the play of bold colors and graphic work with garments. LAFORMELA's urban style draws from subcultures of 90s and 80s and outdoor. “We wish to bring the remembrance and the sense of freedom to our customers.”

Vivienne Westwood, Miuccia Prada, and Rei Kawakubo are a few of the women designers who have paved the way for the current generation of creatives.
