No-Gi Submission Wrestling

Submission Wrestling is the same martial art as Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu but instead of wearing a Gi, students wear shorts and a tee shirt/rash-guard as the move on the wrestling mat. The removal of the Gi changes the grips and hand placement of the practitioner when grappling. The structure of the class is the same as a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu class. At Mass BJJ, students have the option of doing both Gi and No-Gi Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu or pick one or the other.
