I love this hack and the gorgeous professional finish it creates. I’ve used it on everything from my laundry room countertop to the frame on my DIY Anthropologie Primrose mirror dupe to the upholstered bench I built for our bedroom. Have you tried it before? Want to save some money while still achieving beautifully sanded details on your wood projects? Look no further! All you need is a sheet of sandpaper and some trusty duct tape. By adding duct tape to your sandpaper, you’ll create a more rigid surface that won’t alter the intricate details you worked so hard to create. Save this now and give it a go on your next hand sanding project and see the difference! 🪚💡 #woodworkingtips #budgetfriendly #DIYhacks

Easiest Hardware Cleaning Hack!
What you need: • Old hardware • White vinegar • Salt • Old pot or bowl (NOT used for food) • Fine steel wool (#0000) • Old toothbrush • Bar Keeper’s Friend This is seriously the easiest way to clean your old gunky hardware! Just let it soak in an old pot with some salt and enough vinegar to cover. No need to put it over heat, just leave it to soak for a few hours! Once that’s done, scrub the old gunk off with steel wool - it should come off easily. Now for the final touch, go in with an old toothbrush and some Bar Keeper’s Friend. Watch that shine come to life and enjoy your beautiful refreshed hardware! 😍
