Sea Grunkles International Cryptids Zine is a digital zine focused on the adventure of the brothers Stanford and Stanley Pines after the event of the show "Gravity Falls", with them setting out on the Stan 'o War II and travel the world to investigate the anomalies; we invite you to create a path of their journey, and introduce them to the weirdness and the supernatural of YOUR country. Celebrate the folklore around the world, put these two old men through shenanigans, and have fun!

Whether you're a contributor or a supporter, we’re excited to have you join us in this project, and to ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience for everyone, please take a moment to review our basic guidelines.General Information╰┈➤ Our zine focuses on Stanley and Stanford getting their happy ever after and sailing the world together, giving us a glimpse into all the different cultures they get to experience while searching the unknown. Submissions should align with this theme and/or these characters.ׂ╰┈➤ We aim for a more general audience, it's important for us to keep it SFW. Canon-typical violence is allowed, but nothing explicit.ׂ╰┈➤ Implied ships are okay, but the main focus are the the brothers and their adventures.Submission Guidelines╰┈➤ Types of Submissions: We welcome art, fanfiction, comics, or other media.╰┈➤ Word & Page Limits: Written pieces should be between 1k to 3k, and visual submissions should contain 1 to 4 pieces.╰┈➤ Original Work: All submissions must be original and relatively recent, but not necessarily created specifically for this zine. Plagiarism and AI-generated content are under no circumstances permitted.╰┈➤ Collaborations: Teaming up with other creators is welcome! What is this zine about?The base idea of this zine is for international fans of Gravity Falls to write and create art of the Grunkles traveling to their countries and get into hijinks and shenanigans involved with the local supernatural, as a way to celebrate the world-wide fandom of the show.Will this zine have a physical copy?No, due to the expectation of international contributors and the shipping complication, we will not be doing a physical copy. However, we planned to offer a ready-for-print PDF for anyone that wants a physical copy.How old will I have to be to participate?You will have to be at least 18 years old to be a mod or contributor.Will the contributors get compensation?Unfortunately, no. At this moment, we aim for this project to be free or non-profit, meaning all the contributing positions will be volunteering positions. However, if we end up with any add-on merch, all the contributors will receive it for free.What will be the main method for communicating with the public?We will have a public account for this zine on Tumblr, Twitter, and Bluesky, while any questions or concerns can be sent to “[email protected]”.How many positions can I apply to? Is there a limit?You can apply for multiple positions that you are qualified for, however, you will be able to hold only one position. (If you already get a position as a writer, your other applications will be invalid, etc.)How many contributors will the project accept?This will be determined after the interest check!Do we need discord?Preferably, yes! It will make the communication and organization easier for the project.
