I could name it death bringer cut and it would also only have the meaning ascribed to the action in the the game. Only someone familiar with the game will understand the reference

"don't make a judgement on a person by their looks" would sound a little unnatural, but it would make more sense than the court case example. you can say "dont pass judgement on a person by their looks" or even "dont judge a person by their looks."

A: 'Judgment' is the old British spelling. They are the same word. Both spellings are correct.
'Judgement' is more common.
