@lucinda987 Thank you very much šŸ’š

1. Let's check out before I find something else to buy.

2. John is checking out his items at the cash register.

āž”ļø Are both natural?

@pp7676

1. Let's ā€˜goā€™check out before I find something else to buy.

2. John is checking out his items at the cash register. (Correct, ā€˜checking outā€™ means scanning it yourself so the cash register would be a self-serve machine without a cashier)

@lucinda987 Hello šŸ˜ƒ

I bought a cup and I used this machine myself. I was scanning my stuff and I paid for it with my debit card.(after paying for it, the receipt is coming out in the photo below)

Then,

āž”ļøI checked out my stuff with my debit card.-> Is this correct?

@pp7676 yes itā€™s correct, since you scanned the stuff yourself :)
hope this helped šŸ™Œ

Check it ćÆć‚«ć‚øćƒ„ć‚¢ćƒ«ć€‚ć§ć‚‚ć€check it/check it outćÆåŒć˜ć€‚

check it is casual. they both mean the same thing.

@sunamiassault: I could understand it well !
Thank you for teaching me!

Check means to keep something functioning as it should. The executive branch checks the power of the judicial branch. Check can also mean to verify.

Check it out means come and look at this strange thing.

"Check it" is used when you want verify if something is correct (or working properly.) For ex., I'm not sure what time the show starts, I better check it on the ticket. Or, my car is making a strange noise I'm going to take it to my mechanic to check it.

"Check it out" is used to just look at or learn about something that you've heard about to become familiar with it. Allen told me that "Shameless" is a really funny tv show. I'm going to check it out for myself and see if I agree.

@soulfulsound you mean "check it out" is synonymous with "look at"

@truongvutute more or less, but not exactly. check it out could mean "look at" but it could also mean "listen to it" -- as in I love this song, check it out"... or, "taste it" -- as in "my cake didn't come out as well as last time, here check it out handing them a piece to eat.)

@soulfulsound what does "get to" mean in the sentence in the picture? @willghentsc thanks

You check something to see if it's correct, like
Please check my work (and correct it if necessary)

When someone tells you to check something out, they want you to look at it for some reason. Maybe they like it.
Hey, check out this song! It's one of my favorites

check - 惁悧惃ć‚Æ恙悋态ē¢ŗ恋悁悋态ē¢ŗčŖć™ć‚‹
check out - ć€Œćƒć‚§ć‚±ćƒ©ćƒ»ćƒć‚§ć‚ć€

"check it/this out" is also a common way of telling someone to watch you.
Like you're about to do something interesting and you're requesting audience.
"Hey, check this out"
ć€Œććˆć€č¦‹ć¦ć€ć®ę„Ÿć˜

there's no much difference

Check it take no longer than a moment and check it out implies that you are going to do a thorough examination.

Thereā€™s no quite difference between them

@_Lu_ so, can I use both of these variants?
For example:
Check this story in their profile OR check this story out in their profile, right?

@butterfly_susie check it этŠ¾ ты Š³Š¾Š²Š¾Ń€Šøшь ŠŗŠ¾Š¼Ńƒ- тŠ¾ ŠæрŠ¾Š²ŠµŃ€Šøть, Š° check it out ŠæрŠ¾Š²ŠµŃ€Šøть сŠ°Š¼Š¾Š¼Ńƒ

ex. Can you check my answers to the homework?

@hi_rachel No problem! :D

No difference :)

Check it = more casual, but meaning-wise they both mean the same thing!

@picassonative Check It means analyze it.
Check it out means what is your opinion on it.
Example: check it
A: Is this food good?
B: I don't know check it.

Example: check it out
A:Hey do you like this song?
B: No but I will check it out later.
