Driftwood Wind Chime Sun Catcher | Beach Decor

This two-tiered wind chime features driftwood, sea glass, a metal bell and glass beads. Twine and fishing line are used to hang the objects, which are suspended from a swivel hook, enabling the piece to fully rotate. I used mostly orange and blue beads and glass, along with a variety of seashells, some of which I found on Captiva Island, Florida. I also describe this piece as a sun catcher or wind spinner because the bell makes a very soft sound only when the small piece of driftwood touches it.

Driftwood Sea Glass Wind Chime Wind Spinner Sun Catcher

I made this two-tiered wind chime with several pieces of driftwood and sea glass. The seashells are from Captiva Island, FL. It also includes glass beads and a medium-size metal bell. The smaller pieces of driftwood propel the piece and keep things moving. It’s colorful, unique and rustic. It is 32 inches tall, 14 inches wide and 2.5 inches deep. Hang it in a covered area like a porch or alcove—it will last longer. Thanks for stopping by to take a look.
