This is just absolutely adorable! Bonus: it would really get the students thinking about their character. Students make a project about their historical or book figure, and then present while WEARING their poster. The poster refers to what the person is famous for or what the student finds most memorable about the character and they read the biography they WROTE about that person.

I saw and participated in this project while observing in an elementary classroom and I absolutely loved it then. It's very creative but still gets at the idea of how to build a proper report/summary of a book. It would be so fun to have a burger party at the end and everyone would share their "book burger" as they eat burgers!
