Colour Trends 2020

Natural shades seem to be the trend for 2020 so far... Natural doesn’t mean boring though. Colourists are using their creativity to apply different techniques such as “face framing” or “moneypiece” and the “half & half colour” which are both colour trends rocked by stars like Beyoncé and Dua Lipa! Balayage technique which has been a beautiful favourite over the past few years is still going strong! This year we seem to be seeing balayage with more depth and dimension. A deeper, richer colour on the roots and underneath with the lighter sections of hair which blend away from the dark are being toned with beige hues like sand or stone. With the hair having more depth at the roots and underneath it helps the blonde pop which gives you the dimension that we’re all loving right now! Watch this space though... Will bright colours sneak back in later on this year? We’ve been seeing a lot of blue hair on our social media lately, and we have even been creating some amazing blue, pink and peach hair in salon! Demi Lovato has recently appeared on social media, showing off her bright dip dyed ends!
