How does this work? ♥️ Refraction happens when light changes direction, or bends, when it moves from one material to another 🧡 Light traveling through air changes direction when it hits water 💛 This makes it look like the colors magically disappear! 💌 Save and share with a friend for inspiration Follow @learningfromplaying for more easy fun activities #learningfromplaying #learningthroughplay #learningbyplaying #learningeveryday #welovesimpleplay #diy #todd Water Refraction, Easy Fun Activities, Refraction Experiment, Water Experiments For Kids, Grandchildren Activities, Rainbow Experiment, Toddler Science Experiments, Water Experiments, Child Activities

Capillary action allows the colors from the markers to walk across the paper towel to form a rainbow .

Tips to make this experiment successful-
1. Use only washable i.e water soluble color markers , permanent markers will not work
2. Color the ends very nicely for it to work
3. Keep the water cups closer to each other
4. Take only half length if paper , it makes the rainbow faster

SHARE if with your friends because this science experiment is going to amaze your kids !!
