Oyster Shell Tree for Beachcombers - Scavenger Chic

With Christmas fast approaching, I eventually decided that an oyster shell tree was in my future. Just because it would be tree shaped doesn't mean that it would have to be used just for Christmas. You could easily use it for beach decor all year long.

Ellen on Instagram: "I love the organic shapes of Oyster shells and these ornaments are so easy to make even last minute as place cards for the table setting. Any printed tissue paper will work or print your own as I did with the 12 days of Christmas. I’ll share the link to that clip art in stories. 🌲 Instructions: 1. Wash shells 2. Paint inside with pearlized craft paint, let dry 3. Apply modge podge, I used satin 4. Apply tissue design (if covering entire shell you’ll need to trim) 5. Cover entire inside of shell over tissue with modge podge let dry 6.
