My Favorite Chinoiserie Wallpaper Ever

Garden & Gun I have posted a couple of times about this wonderful Chinoiserie toile wallpaper. I first saw it about five years ago on eBay and I was outbid. The eBay listing did not identify the pattern name or manufacturer. I looked everywhere for it. Our house was built in the early 1900s, and I strive to select paper that would make the original owners smile. The prints in our home are from sources all over, but I typically get them directly from the brand themselves (ie: Sandberg wallpaper), or a third party distributor like Wallpaper Direct, or Spoonflower. I included all of the paper we have used upstairs and in one of our two staircases. I’ll be sharing the paper going up to the old “maid’s quarters” (now our connected bonus room) in Part two. 1. First time using wallpaper and I gotta say, this was harder than I thought, especially after noticing that the hand drawn flower twigs connect from one sheet to another. You may ask, why didn’t you just glue it without matching the twigs? Short answer is: I got a wife and I intend to keep her happy with my crazy DIYs. 😂 At a positive note, the marble mosaics paired super well with board and batten trim and wood vanity.
