I used the stone spray paint to cover the old radio cabinet. Prior to painting, I patched a few nicks in the cabinet with wood putty then sanded it before painting.

The Doll
The walls in the doll house are not glued so they can be removed at any time. I created the bathroom between the master bedroom and the little girls bedroom. I added the toilet paper roll and towel bars above the tub and sink. Found the little tiles at Hobby Lobby.

a close up of the bed. I watched a video on how to make the bed. I used foam board as well as foam to make the bed then birch craft wood to create the head board and purchased the trim. The sheets and bed spread are glues in place to hold their shape.

The House
Now the fun begins. I have collected doll house furniture for a couple of years now but I also made a few pieces for the house. I made the bed for the master bedroom.

One side done. I also created dormers for the roof. Since there is no access to the dormer, I placed the curtains in the window before attaching the dormer to the roof. I continued with the siding on 3 sides and used the roof shingles from Hobby Lobby to finish the outside of the doll house.

Now I started siding the house. I used the larger wooden sticks and cut the round edge off. I first starting spray painting but later decided on just painting with a brush so you will see that the color changes. I maid the planter box with the pieces I cut off from the siding as well as other sticks.

Windows going in now. (Purchased the windows, shutters and roofing from Hobby Lobby online). They don't seem to stock very many of these in the store so save yourself some time and order online.
