Sweet Violet silk wedding gown | Curve bridal Kate Beaumont | Understatedly beautiful wedding gowns
Sweet Violet is one of our classic bias-cut silk designs. We've updated the shape a little - raising the height of the curved back so it's more bra-friendly, adding in a pair of semi-sheer silk georgette flutter sleeves, and using matte silk marocain on the skirt as a contract to the shimmering silk-satin on the top. A beautiful gown which looks amazing on women of all shapes and sizes.

We created this mohair shrug as a stylish (and super warm!) cover up for winter weddings. It has a shawl collar and is gently gathered at the back hem to create a voluminous shape. We reworked our Lilac lace top shape for our Curve collection – this version ends with the lace scallop edge just above the waist. The front features a boat neck and the back is V’d, both necklines are edged in silk-satin binding. The sleeves are loose fitting and scallop trim is reattached at the hem. Closing with buttons and silk rouleau loops, the Lilac top works beautifully over one of our silk slip dresses – worn here over Thistle in pale blue silk-satin.
