Riley Blanks on Instagram: "When my grandpa passed away a couple of years ago, my mother-in-law sent my dad a card. Inside was this poem, followed by her own, comforting words, ‘May you inherit his sun.’ I found the card amongst other treasures as I went through his belongings over the summer. I made this vignette soon thereafter because sometimes reading poems aloud and remembering helps. I hadn’t revisited it for a while because sometimes it doesn’t.
