Easy Raising Cane’s Chicken Fingers & Sauce Copycat Recipe
Easy Raising Cane’s Chicken Fingers & Sauce Copycat Recipe - DWELL by michelle
Loaf Pan Chicken Hack- this is a winner winner…..you know the rest!! I’ve made this twice and it’s been perfect both times. The possibilities are endless... | By SugarRebel2 | Let's do something just for fun. I saw this fun little hack. I don't even know where I saw it. Um I think somebody, I'm sure somebody sent me a picture of it. And all you do is layer chicken into a loaf pan and bake it that way and then you can slice it and use it. Whatever. Whatever you might need a protein for. You just cook a lot at one time. So we're just going to try it today and see what happens. I've got about two and a half pounds of chicken and I've got chicken tenderloins. You could use chicken breast, chicken tenderloins, chicken thighs, whatever you choose to do. This is just what I have today that I'm going to be using. If you're using thighs, you might want to cut a little bit of the fat off. If you're using these babies, you might want to cut these little tendons off and I know the little fork trick. People have told me that before. Doesn't work for me. All I do is make a big mess. You don't even have take these tendons out. But I don't like them. So I'm removing them. And you can season this up however you want to. Um one thing you could do if you chose to is marinate it. And you can marinate it for several hours. And whatever your favorite marinade is. If this works, I'm probably going to do experiment with different kinds of marinade according to what flavor I need for that meal that night. If I'm going to do tacos, I probably would do this with a little Mexican flare and then I could just slice it and use it in tacos. This could be used for Asian bowls, salads. Today, I'm just going to be very basic. Um and I'm going to use some of my Kinder's blend and all it is is salt, pepper, and garlic. I'm going to be using that today because I just want to be able to use this for whatever. We may just make a chicken sandwich with it. Now I'm going to have to go wash my hands. I'm trying really hard to not let my right hand know what my left hand is doing so that I can keep one clean hand but sometimes it's hard. I'm just going to drizzle a little olive oil right on top of that layer but then I'm just going to sprinkle my seasoning. This would be great with Cajun seasoning. Whatever you like y'all. Okay, drizzle again on the top. Little bit of olive oil, not much and then, another little sprinkle of the seasoning. And I do have my oven preheated to 400 if I didn't already tell you that. Now, after I've seasoned that all up, all I'm going to do is just mash it down as tightly as I can. I just want a big solid chicken chunk in there. That's it. And then I'm going to stick it in the oven for 40 minutes. And let's see what happens. My chicken cooked exactly 45 minutes. Probably because it was really really cold when I put it into the oven. Some of my chicken tenders almost were just a little bit frozen. Um it's really best to let it come to room temperature or close to it before you stick it in there but just cook it an extra 5 minutes. I did use a meat thermometer. I cooked it to 165 degrees. This is what it looks like when it comes out. It smells delicious. I'm going to pour all this extra juice off. In the end. I'll either use that for something or throw it in the trash. Now we're going to and I want you to notice I didn't spray my pan or anything and it's not stuck. Just want to dump that blob of chicken out there. And use it however you want it. You could chop this up at this point. Turn it into chicken salad. You can make a chicken casserole. Whatever you want to do. For me this is so much easier than trying to boil chicken. Um having that big mess in my pan. All that broth. Letting it cool. Chopping it. Pulling it apart. Um plus it's already seasoned. And if I want to just slice this up to go on top of a salad then I can do that. If I want it to go on tacos it's ready. It'll already be seasoned. And it's going to be just delicious. Um I'm going to take this one little bite here. It's perfect. It'll be great. Whatever I want to use it for. We may just have a little chicken sandwich tonight for supper. Y'all try this. This is a fun, easy, fast way to have you some chicken to do whatever you want to with. Good luck.
