Thank you, Zia Rosa ❤️ 500 grams or 4 cups of flour 200 grams or 3/4 of a cup 2 sticks of butter 1 package paneangeli 2 egg yolks 1 complete egg 500 grams of ricotta 1 cup powdered sugar Zest of one lemon Chocolate chips optional Powdered sugar for garnish Directions: For the crust: Add flour and butter in a large bowl. Incorporate the butter into the flour. Add the sugar and paneangeli and then the egg and egg yolks. Mix until combined, dough should be crumbly. For the ricotta: Mix the sugar, zest of a lemon and the ricotta in a medium bowl. Mix until light and fluffy. Add 3/4 of the crust to a baking dish. Pat down evenly along the bottom. Then add the ricotta. Sprinkle some chocolate chips on top if you like. Then sprinkle the rest of the crust evenly on top. Bake in the oven at 350 for 50minutes.
