Let's make some cute beads with plastic spoons. Yes. Plastic spoons. So you guys plaid has come out with paint that's made just for plastic to paint plastic. So that's what I'm using here. So I use the yellow paint. I mean you still going to have to put like two coats or even three. I use the clear spoon but you can use a white spoon it doesn't matter. So I have a spoon that's already been coated a couple of times. Now, I'm going to use some black paint. This paint is also made for plastic. They have a whole has a whole collection of paints just for plastic. So, I'm going to draw the B lines with my black paint. So, you can just use a thin brush and just draw the lines on. The lines don't have to be perfect. You actually don't want em to be perfect because these If you look at them deadlines look a little fuzzy so you'll be you'll be fine just doing whatever you do. So I have a set here that's already painted. I have these gold spoons and basically it's just Mod Podge and glitter. So you could just mod podge them and glitter them. And you will get these gold wings. These are going to be the wings for my butterfly. I mean my butterfly. My my bee. So now you just want to cut it just above the spoon. You want to leave a little space because you need it to attach all the pieces too, okay? So now on the wings, you want to kind of cut it on a a little bit like on the edge so that they can meet up. Just cut the edge off a little bit. Now, just get some hot glue. You don't need a lot of hot glue. You put one wing on and then you put the other wing on and then you basically look at it and see how big you want the wingspan to be or how close you want it to be. It's totally up to you. Okay? This is going to take a minute to dry. It's plastic on plastic. So I got a half of a wood bead and I painted it black. That's going to be the bee's head. Now I'm not going to put a face on this bead. It's just going to be half of the bead painted black. Make sure you put plenty of glue to stick that bead on. So now you're going to stick your bead on and you going to make sure you leave it alone for a minute so it has time to dry. So now I got me some gold wire and those are going to be the antennas for bee. Okay? So it's just it's pretty hard to see but it's a very small thin piece and then I just curled the ends. Okay? So I got this idea from this southern girl Ken. She's on YouTube. She actually did these last year. But I kept them on the back of my mind because I wanted to do them because they're so cute, easy, cheap, economical. And it goes perfectly with my B theme that I've been doing on it. So you just want to glue that on to the back of the bead of the wood bead. And then I got me some like little gold rhinestones type things and I'm going to put those on the bee's antennas. Now, you can use any color like you can make the wings white. You can make the wings black. You could change it up. You can do it your way. This is just the way I did them but you don't have to do them like that. As you'll see when I'm done I kind of used some white spoons to do the wings. Okay? But look how pretty these are. I'm not sure what I'm going to use them on but I just had to. You just use it as decor. Look how pretty. Look. See how those spoons back there have white. That bee back there has white spoons as the wings. The gold ones though. You can do it in silver. You can do it in yellow, a lighter yellow color, whatever. Make you some. Bye.
