I drained one of them and put them at the bottom of a nine by thirteen. Now we're going to put about a half cup of oats, a nice dash of cinnamon, and about three tablespoons of brown sugar. Give this a nice little mix. Now in this bowl I have one and a half sticks of melted butter. Imma add one package of cake mixed. I use this white vanilla kind. And then I'm also adding short stack of crushed up Ritz crackers. Give this all a nice mix and then we're going to put this right on top of our peach oats, cinnamon, and brown sugar mixture. Crumple it up real good and then put this in the oven at 350 for about 45 minutes. When it's done y'all have the best most yummy peach cobbler. It's sweet and you can also taste a little bit of that salt from the Ritz crackers. I like to eat this with some vanilla ice cream but y'all do it mix happy. This is so easy and so good. And everything is just peachy just like my shirt says. Enjoy y'all.

Her granddaughter stated that this recipe was so good that she framed it and placed it on her wall in the kitchen. The ingredients for this cake will make two layers but I doubled the ingredients to make a four-layer cake. I started out with two boxes of Duncan Hines white cake mix. The original recipe calls for one small box of strawberry jello. I added in two which is six ounces and I mixed it in with the Duncan Heinz White Cake Mix. Next, I added in my eggs. Make sure to beat your eggs before you add them in and slowly add them into the cake mix. I added in one and 1/ 3 cups of oil, two cups of thawed berries with the juice because remember, I'm making four layers and this is how your butter should look. I greased and floured two baking pans because I'm going to bake two cakes at once and I preheated my oven at 350 degrees and I'm going to cook them for at least 25 to 30 minutes. While the layers are baking, I'm going to make my icing. Add one 16 ounce box of powdered sugar and butter. Mix that first and then add in your berries which is a/ 2 a cup without I made the mistake of adding everything together and my icing came out a little thinner than what I would like it to be. Let your layers cool for at least ten and then you can start placing your icing and I must say Mimi's sixty-year-old strawberry cake recipe is so delicious.
