Buffalo Damascus Sgian Dubh
The Sgian Dubh -- skee-an-DOO -- is Scottish male jewelry, worn in the top of the sock underneath the kilt. If you have a Scotsman on your Christmas list, or kilted men in your wedding party, you're both in luck. This one is made of Damascus steel, made by Brad Vice in Alabama. I cut it from a billet made by Alabama Damascus. It contains over 400 layers of 52100 (ball bearing steel), 5160 (spring steel), 15N20 (band saw blade steel). It was oil-quenched and tempered at 350F, so it is rather hard
