This vintage Bulgari ring is from their "Cabochon" line. Named after a cut of stone that's polished without being faceted, the top of this piece is designed to resemble an oval, cabochon gem. Two carved recesses beneath the top add a further sense of three dimensional art, and the wide shank tapers from 14mm to 3.5mm. The inside of the ring is deeply engraved with "BVLGARI" in graduated lettering. Stamped "585" in a diamond, which is the hallmark for 14 karat gold.
