Crying and Sleep Training
there have been several studies that have concluded (with statistical significance) that letting your child cry while sleep training has no notable impact on stress levels, feelings of attachment/ abandonment, or child emotions and behavior. In fact, research has shown the exact opposite! Not only did these studies disprove that letting your baby cry will harm them physically or emotionally, they proved that letting your baby cry results in: 💤shorter onset of sleep 💤less night wakings 💤better self regulation

MYTH: Sleep training means you can’t feed your child at night TRUTH: When done properly, you can feed as many times as you want at night and still effectively “sleep train” How? Because feeding and sleep *shouldn’t* have any association with one another.
