Countdown To Christmas

We’re sharing our Countdown To Christmas this holiday season with 25 Days of Kid’s Crafts and Activities!! My girls are 5 and 9 and all of the activities are great for that age range! 🫶 🆓🆓🆓 To get my Countdown to Christmas checklist of all 25 activities (and a list of their supplies!), comment “COUNTDOWN” and I’ll send it to you 🥰🥰 Activity 1 - Cardboard Cookies Supplies: Cardboard Scissors Optional items for “toppings”: Shaving cream/liquid glue Paint Crayons Markers Glitter Glue Rhinestones Denied Beans/Rice Paper scraps To make homemade puffy paint: Mix equal parts shaving cream and glue • • • Activity 2 - Shaving Cream Ornaments Supplies: Pan White Cardstock Shaving cream Food Coloring Popsicle Stick Cardboard Ribbon Scissors *Something to cover your work surface *Plastic gloves if you want to cover your hands Directions: 1. Spray a layer of shaving cream on pan. 2. Add several drops of food coloring. Swirl with popsicle stick. The more swirls you add, the more colorful your design will be. 3. Firmly press cardstock paper into shaving cream. Gently pull back from corner to remove. (You can use this with several pieces of paper!) 4. Use a piece of cardboard to scrap shaving cream off of paper. Let dry. 5. Once dry, you can use it as you would with any other paper (cut, draw on, fold into card, etc) *We added glitter glue, punched a hole, and added a ribbon. • • • Activity 3 - Coffee Filter Snowflakes Supplies: Coffee Filters Washable Markers Paint Brush or Spray Bottle Water Scissors Directions: 1. Cover surface. Color on coffee filters with washable markers. 2. Use spray bottle or paint brush and water to dampen the entire coffee filter. The markers will bleed so be sure your surface is covered. Let dry. 3. Once dry, fold coffee filter in half. 4. Fold in half again. 5. Next fold into thirds 6. Begin cutting out snowflake design. The only thing you CAN’T do is cut an entire side off. 7.
