TAYLOR DELLATORRE | HAIR VIDEOS | BLONDES | Lived-in Foilayage Placement ✨This is one of my go-to placements for a natural, lived-in color, which looks good on blondes, brunettes… | Instagram
Emily Chen on Instagram: "Why yes. Yes it can be done on dark hair too 🤎 Think of permanent color as a full coverage lipstick, and demi color as tinted lipgloss. Or painted cabinets vs stained cabinets. Permanent color will give you the heaviest coverage, but it’ll also give you the most dramatic regrowth line. Demi offers less coverage, but a more subtle & graceful growout. My client here was sick of having to color her regrowth every 4 weeks, but she wasn’t ready to go full-on grey. Our goal was to get her to a level 6 demi base so that she’s able to stretch her regrowth maintenance visits to 6-8 weeks. This was my client’s second blending session in her transition from opaque permanent color to translucent demi color and we both LOVED how it came out 😍 we did one more blending s
Emily Chen on Instagram: "I’ve literally been waiting 7 months to post this 🙌 My gorgeous client here started her demi journey with me in November of last year. We spent the day carefully lifting out layers of dark level 5 permanent color, gave her a gradient, lived-in look, while also blending out as much of the o
Rosie Baylis- Strover on Instagram: "Why you have that annoying band of warmth at your roots So you have your hair done, and it looks fine in the salon, but after a few weeks when your hair starts growing and your natural, ash-based colour grows through... all of a sudden your colour looks REALLY warm. There’s a reason for this- When using a permanent colour for full grey coverage- the peroxide used will shift your natural colour a little bit. Whenever we lift the hair- it will ALWAYS go warm (this happens to everyone)- so as long as you are using a permanent colour, this will always happen, and you will always have that brassy colour through the ends of the hair (unless it’s lifted out with bleach) So what’s the alternative? If you are open to having a middle ground (on a poll on my
