This is a reclaimed pine wood floor. Surfaced nailed and screwed, holes filled with wood putty. Coolest part? These are 2x6's! That's right, 1 1/2" thick solid wood floor!

Finished product. Looks and feels great! 2x6 solid wood floor surfaced nailed and screwed, sanded, stained, and 2 coats of polyurethane. Love the variation in color from the different types of pine. White pine, yellow pine, and old heart pine! Gotta love a rustic floor!
All stained! Almost all vacuumed :) Looking great, certainly don't look like reclaimed, ruff 2x6's anymore!
Staining! Always exciting to start getting an idea of the finished product!! This is 1 part Varathane Briarsmoke stain with 4 parts Varathane Summer Oak stain
Half sanded! We used a drum sander and edger, 36 grit, then 60 grit, then 100 grit. Always fill before sanding! Used a combination of screws and nails.... not all reclaimed wood is flat and warp free, the screws fixed that! Nails had to be set to not damage the sander, boy that was a pain!
Wood filler is a dilemma! Filler says stainable but never stains like wood. Cuz the stains we use are oil based, the fillers are water based! This was our work around. Water based stain! Mix powdered filler with water based stain, and water. Only found one water based stain at local big box store, it is tintable. You choose your filler color. We wanted the filler dark. Mix some up, more stain=deeper color. Your wood stain will also impact the filler color, be sure to test before committing!
