Summer pastel ceramics 🌸🍧 This weekend I’m taking part in @warwickshireopenstudios and the venue is @makers_space_uk. If you’ve followed along on my stories you’ll know that I haven’t been able to do much making in the past few weeks, but my latest firing was just about ok! There’s going to be over 20 makers at @makers_space_uk which is in Alcester (near Stratford) and there is also a brilliant cafe on site. So pretty! #Repost @ren_vois ・・・ people always ask me, “what kind of glaze do you use?” and the answer is none! well.. i usually only use clear glaze on the inside of my pieces and the color on the outside is from a powdered color stain that i hand wedge into the porcelain clay. it took me almost two years to figure out the ratio of color to clay and what colors worked and didn’t work after firing in the kiln. here are some colors that have been successful experiments! #clay #ceramics #...
