Brandy Gordon on Instagram: "My mom used to make green beans and potatoes all the time when I was a child and I used to get so mad! 🤣 Now that I’m an adult, I understand why that was a frequent week night meal. When you have worked all day, one pot meals are IT! I make this all the time, but I was intrigued when @flychefaldenb made his with a roux. It was so good! Once you sauté the sausage and bacon, remove it and add flour to make a roux, along with onions and garlic. Stir in chicken stock, season and add fresh green beans. Allow those to simmer about 30 mins followed by the potatoes. Once the potatoes soften, add back your meats. Save this for an easy but filling one pot meal. Comment below for the full recipe.
