How in the world could that help it? There is actual science behind this! When certain plants are pinched, it sends them into a survival mode and it causes them to come back stronger and produce more flowers. These two shoots they send up will put on double the amount of blooms. 🥳 Now disclaimer, this method doesn’t work for all flowers just some like dahlias, zinnias, snapdragons, sweet peas, larkspur, salvia…and herbs too like Basil and Mint If you have planted Dahlia tubers this year, go see how big the plant is. If it has three leaf sets, then it’s time to pinch it!
