Our favorite Breakfast Casserole | Our favorite Breakfast Casserole 🎬 This original video was produced by Network Media and Lanette and Kurt | By Network Tales | Okay and you can use whatever kind of sausage you like. I'm using Jimmy Dean's sausage. So is this the bottom layer then? No. This is going to be the top layer because we are going to flip it. We're going to flip it. Yes we are. Ooh. So the sausage is going to end up on the top of this thing. And you don't get any more American than American cheese. Yes. Create a nice little cheesy layer. And no dish is complete without cheese. Cool. What's next? Alright next we have some hash browns. Some shredded hash browns. Oh wow. Are those like frozen? Uh it was frozen. I've dried them out and so I'm just going to sprinkle this layer of it all over here. So what's the next layer? Next layer. Eggs. So I've craft five eggs. You can use six or a little bit more if you want. Okay. And I'm seasoning them with just some salt and pepper. Gotcha. I like a little bit of that. And then we just whisk them up. Okay. Cool. Ooh. Nice red whisk. You like that? I did. Yellow and red. It's like McDonald's. It's the color of fast food. First I'm just going to do a pour here. Think I should use more egg? Yes. I'm adding three more eggs just to fill it in. Oh yeah. A little bit more. Oh yeah that looks so much better. Alright so we have enough eggs. What's next? So what's next? More cheese. More American cheese. Next we have pancake mix. And we don't want to have too much pancakes. So I'm just going to pour a little bit and we'll spread it out. And again this cheesy layer is creating. Barrier. A barrier between the other ingredient Okay. Here's here's something really really important my grandma used to teach me. What's that? We're going to shake it. Just going to shake this. Okay. Just to kind of get everything leveled out. Alright. And then guess what? What do we do? We put it in the oven. We got the oven set to four twenty-five. We're going to put this in the oven for about 45 minutes or until done. Alright. 45 minutes at what? Four twenty-five? 4 25 yeah. Alright. All Cook time. Okay. So what you got there? We got some maple syrup. Nothing more American than maple syrup. And I'm talking North. The great North American syrup. What are you doing with it? We're going to prep our plate. Cuz remember whoa. This is very runny because it is genuine maple syrup from our friends. Our friends to the north. To the north. Why are you prepping the plate with maple syrup? We are prepping the plate because remember we are going to be flipping this and we have pancake on the bottom. That's right. So pancake on the bottom. Let's do this. Let's go get our pancakes. Alright. Put that aside and let's get that concoction. Whatever it is. This layered thing out of the oven. Oh it looks so good. Oh I can see the golden brown from here. The pancake looks perfect. That right there. Look at the cheeses coming through. So I'm going to put this on top. It's going to get a little sticky. So bear with me. Here we go. Whoop. Beautiful. Okay. And then Slide it a little. That's okay. We had a little extra lubrication with the syrup. We're going to unbuckle this right here. Unbuckle. Got it. Again, it's hot so I'm going to whoo. It's called Oh nice, nice, nice, nice. Ready to come off. Alright, you ready to see this? This is Look at that. Now. Oh my goodness. Because I flipped it, it's going to settle down. Ready to open it. You're lifting it off. Oh. Look at that. You can see the pancake, the cheese. Wow. Not yet. Not yet. We are not done yet. Oh. I have fried up some extra hash and we're going to put that nice and crispy hash right on that looks so cool. Yeah, look at those little extra crunchy ones because those are fantastic and we're not done yet because this all American breakfast requires some ketchup on top Ketchup. We got some good organic ketchup. We're going to make it nice and pretty. Here we go. Alright. Oh my. But we're not done yet. Okay. We're going to add a little bit of freshly cut green onion. This is going to give it a little bit of freshness. But as well as a nice oniony flavor. And look at that green color. I mean it just looks beautiful beautiful. That really. But we're not done yet. Oh really? What's next? You know you are at the breakfast. You gotta have that orange garnish on your on your plate. And it's beautiful little orange garnish. Wow that looks. And there you have it. Incredible. Look at that. That is amazing, Kurt. It looks absolutely beautiful. Are you going to cut into it? Yes, let's cut into it. Well, please let's cut into it. Can you get me a plate? Okay, let's cut into it. Oh you can hear the crispy crunchy crispy hash on top. And this is going to be the most complete breakfast you have ever had in one bite. Alright let's see that. Let's pull that out of there. So that oh my. Oh wow. You can see the sausage and the pancake and the eggs. Eggs. And the hash. And the onions and the And it's going to work all over. The cheese is all melted in there. Yes. And got a little bit of onion. Oh my goodness. So we'll plate it there. It looks beautiful. Look at that cheesy egg. Oh my it looks even better on this side because you can see the cheese. Look at that. So what are we calling this? We are calling this McGriddle Upside Down Cake. Mcgriddle Upside Down Cake. This is like a McGriddle meal with the hash brown all over McDonald's. Right. Yes. Oh my gosh. I wasn't even getting that. Yes. Have you have you never had a McGriddle? No. Alright. Here we go. Gonna get some sausage in this bite. Oh my goodness. And look at this. Put right there. Just get some egg and cheese and pancake and there we go. That was a huge bite. That's hot. But does it taste good? Or are you now burned forever? It tastes amazing. I taste the first I I get that tang of the ketchup. Uh huh. The nice porkiness. That smoky porkiness of the sausage. The egg and cheesiness. And believe it or not I have the the sweet. Syrupy sweet of the of the syrup that goes on the bottom. Well, I know what we're having for breakfast and dinner. Yay.

My family can't get enough of this easy dinner! | My family can't get enough of this easy dinner! Kyra makes a delicious casserole with pasta, chicken and broccoli. | By Kyras Kitchen | Alright, we added our twenty-four ounces of Italian dressing and we have about a pound of rotini pasta. Now, we have some cooked chicken and I'm just going to chop these pieces up a little further right in the bowl with my scissors. You can also use a whole rotisserie chicken. This is just some pulled chicken I got at the store but I feel like they just don't pull it small enough. I think that's good. You can do yours smaller if you like but this is about two pounds of chicken. I don't think I said that yet. That's two pounds of chicken right there. Just cut up some of those pieces at the bottom that still look kind of big because I do not like super big pieces of chicken in my mouth. I just don't. And just you know, spread it out a little bit. I mean, why not, right? Now, we have one cup of milk Going directly over our chicken and pasta and everything in here. Now we have some chicken broth. You need a cup of chicken broth for this. So I'm going to do about half of this can. Don't want to put too much liquid because this is a 14ounce can. Now we have some Italian seasoning. Oh my goodness. You want a lot of Italian seasoning. You want like a tablespoon. So get it all over your chicken. And then we have some onion powder. Do a nice amount of that on there as well. I love a nice onion flavor but that's totally optional. Then we're going to do a little bit of salt. Not too much. That dressing is already nice and salty. But as you could see that chicken did not have any seasonings on it. Now we have some black pepper. Do a nice generous amount of black pepper. I just feel that it adds such a nice little flavor to any dish. And now, we're just going to take a big spoon, spatula, whatever you have and you are just going to mix everything together directly in your greased baking dish. You can use a bowl if you want but I, myself, just like this method because I can save on dishes and it really doesn't take that long at all and all that liquid in there is going to cook up our rotini perfectly. I protein rotini because it taste exactly the same as regular pasta but it's better for you and it's got more protein in it. So, I consider that a win in my book. Alright, so just make sure everything is evenly distributed in here and all mixed together Just like so. See that? That came together so quickly you guys. We are literally almost finished. Perfect. And now we need some color. We've got two cups of frozen broccoli. Now I'm going to try to pour this around the edges of my dish here. What? Maybe we need more broccoli. Brought out the big guns. I am going to add just a little more broccoli. Cuz that just doesn't seem like enough to me. I don't know if it's because that measuring cup didn't measure it right because I have heard that that's a liquid measuring cup and it's not going to measure out solid foods correctly but I just did it anyway because I thought it looked cool because you could see the broccoli through it and I don't think they make clear like solid food measuring cups. So we wanted to create like a little border for what we're going to put in the middle here. We have eight ounces of Philadelphia cream cheese. Wow. You don't have to use Philadelphia. I just find that it's the best. It tastes the best. So yeah kind of you gotta use Philadelphia. Right now that we got everything in there. We have to cover it with some foil real quick. Okay. And we're just going to pop this in the oven at 425 for 35 minutes. Alright guys, it has been 35 minutes with the foil on. Now we take off the foil. Mm smells so good. And we're just going to break up that nice melted cream cheese. The broccoli's nice and cooked and we're just going to mix everything together. You want to be kind of gentle with it so you don't break up your pasta Oh yeah. Look at that. And don't worry about all that liquid. It will soak into everything. Especially once you're done with it. You probably want to let it because we're going to cook it a little more because we have something else to add. You might know what it is. But yeah, as long as it cooks longer and you let it rest, all that liquid will get absorbed into everything. So, you just want to mix the cream cheese in with everything else and it's going to form a nice sauce. We have some shredded cheese and I got pizzeria style blend. You can also go for an Italian blend. This is just like mozzarella provolone. All that good stuff. And this is two cups of cheese that we're just going to put directly on top. I got the thick cut. Cuz I just feel like thick cut. Just melts so much better and you get such a wonderful cheese pull. And I love making dinners like this with cheese on the top. I just I live for the cheese pull. There we go. And just kind of spread it out. But be careful because it's hot. But we do want that cheese to be all over everything in here. Mm. I love cheese. Cheese makes everything better for me. I don't know about you guys. But cheese just it always tops everything off so perfectly. Alright. And we're just going to pop this back in the oven uncovered for 15 minutes. Alright guys so This came out of the oven about five minutes ago. It smells so good. But before we dig in let's chop it off. Top it off with a little bit of fresh parsley. Oh yeah that adds such beautiful little color and flavor to it. Usually I use those little containers of the parsley. But today I'm going super fresh for you guys. Alright, that looks great. Now, time to dig in. Let's see how we did today. Let's see how we did. Oh it's hot. Ooh. Oh. Look at that. Oh my goodness. I couldn't even oh wow. That looks awesome. Oh my gosh it's cheese. Oh my goodness. I'm acting a fool because this looks so good. Oh my gosh.
