If you ever wondered how much a bathroom remodel costs, here’s a breakdown: Tiles (wall, shower, and floor): $1,900 Vanity: $3,900 Faucets (vanity and shower system): $534 Glass Door: $1,200 Lighting (sconces): $200 Mirrors: $600 Additional Accessories: $150 Material & Labor: $7,015 TOTAL COST: $15,500 Comment “BATHROOM” for the links to shop everything we used Being very transparent here, and we can definitely say that it was much more expensive than what we budgeted for, but we love how it all came out! We also know that labor costs can vary A LOT based on location, company, and if you’re doing multiple projects or just a single one. We got a better price because we did both our primary and guest bathrooms, so that definitely helped on negotiating the labor costs. Is it possible to do it for way less? The answer is YES, you can definitely save a lot of money by purchasing different types of material and if you are hands on and want to take on a project like this, you can save between $5-6k just on labor costs (depending on where you live). Personally I’m not very familiar with it, and I’m learning a lot by reading all... | By WINNI | Look at that. Wow. So this is not taping off any of the tile. And you just remove that. Look how clean that looks. So this is a 100% epoxy grout that you apply with a caulking gun. The beauty of it is once it sets and dries you don't have to wash it. You don't have to do anything. So the cleanup is very very quick. Cuz this is nice glossy tile. We don't really have to treat it in any way. Also we don't necessarily have to tape it off. You could tape it off when you're doing bigger tiles. But in this one we're going to just go ahead and then start to fill these grout lines. To make sure bus in here. Okay? Take your time with it. The beauty with this is once we spread it there's absolutely no washing that has to be done. Next, what we're going to do is grab one of these little tools here and then, we're just going to simply run it down our grout line like so. As we collect it, I'm kind of pivoting it and then, I'm just going to go ahead and wipe it on the rag to get rid of the excess grout just like that. So, we're just basically wiping it and then, Start out of the center. Come this way. We're going to see how this goes. This is all you have to do. Don't touch any of this stuff. We're going to wait for a couple hours and let it cure up. The beauty though is like once it cures up, that stuff just flakes right off and you'll see how easy that works. So let me just finish this up. Like that. I said now we're going to see what it looks like if we don't tape off the tile and then the epoxy dries out. All you have to do is just use a little tool like this. Just comes right off. Look at that. Look at that. That is easy. That's pretty cool.
