White after Labor Day

The rule, originally created to separate the old money elitists from the new money group, no longer holds relevance to today’s society. There are a plethora of basics for men and women alike that can always be worn in white- think a crisp white t-shirt, a white cardigan, or white tennis shoes. Whether worn monochromatically or with colored pieces, a white staple item is never a bad idea, no matter the time of year.
