Balloons Over Broadway is one of my favorite picture books to read during the Thanksgiving season. It tells the story of Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade and how it has evolved over time. There are so many fun activities that can follow the reading of this story, but one of my favorites is challenging kids to design and create festive balloons for our own holiday parade!
