TEKS PROSEDUR (PROCEDURE TEXT)
Procedure text adalah sebuah teks yang memberikan kita perintah atau instruksi untuk melakukan
sesuatu.
Tujuan dari Procedure text adalah untuk menggambarkan suatu perintah atau instruksi tentang
bagaimana sesuatu dicapai sesuai urutan atau langkah-langkah yang benar.
Ciri ciri Procedure text :
 Biasanya judul diawali dengan “How to ….“.

 Biasanya menggunakan Simple Present Tense dengan rumus (S+V1)
 Berbentuk imperative/bentuk perintah
 Menggunakan action verbs, contoh: make, take, boil, cook,
 Menggunakan temporal conjunctions, contoh: First, then, next, after that, last
 Menggunakan conjunctions (kata penghubung) untuk mengurutkan kegiatan, misalnya then,
while, dsb.
 Menggunakan adverbs (kata keterangan) untuk menyatakan rinci waktu, tempat, cara yang
akurat, misalnya for five minutes, 2 hours, dsb.
 Menggunakan adverbs (kata keterangan) untuk menyatakan tahapan atau urutan, misalkan the
first, the second, the third, the last, etc.
Generic Stucture dari Procedure text :
 Goal : memberikan informasi tentang maksud dan tujuan prosedur dan

memprediksi suatu kesimpulan.
 Materials : berisi daftar materi atau bahan-bahan yang dibutuhkan untuk
melakukan suatu prosedur atau langkah-langkah.
 Steps : daftar urutan instruksi/aktivitas untuk mencapai tujuan dalam urutan langkah yang benar.

have educational value for students in different grades. To install game on your PC, follow the direction below.
First, you need game software. You can download it or buy the CD.

Run the game to start installation. If you download it, double click on the .exe file or right click and choose “run”.
If you use CD, the installation setup window will automatically appear in your screen.

How to Wash Your Hands Properly
Washing your hand regularly can protect you

from dangerous bacteria, germs, dirt, and even
virus that might harm your health. Follow these
simple steps to clean your hands properly.
Tools / Things you need:

1. Clean water MATERIALS
2. Soap
3. Tissue / Clean towel
STEPS
Procedures :
1. Go to the bathroom or to the closest sink

where you can find clean and running
water
2. Turn on the tap and wet your hands with the
running water (you can use warm or cold
water).
3. Turn off the tap and then apply soap on both
of your palms. After that, lather your palms
by rubbing them together with the soap.
4. Spread the lather to the space between your
fingers, under your nails and also to the
backs of your hands.
5. Keep on scrubbing for at least 20 seconds.
6. Turn on the tap once more and rinse your
hands with the clean water (make sure no
more lather remains on your hand).
7. Dry your hands using some tissue or clean
towel.
8. Your hand is now clean and free of germs.
