GMTA
An initialism of "great minds think alike," a humorous phrase used when one has the same thought or idea as someone else, especially at or around the same time. Used especially in text messaging and online communications. A: "Hey, want to go see Titanic with me?" B: "I was going to suggest that, too. GMTA!" Tom and I both brought the same gift to Sarah's party. GMTA, I guess. A: "Aren't you annoyed that Andrea has the same prom dress as you?" B: "Nah. What can I really say besides GMTA!"
