3. Exceedingly strange or bizarre. A: "Leave it to Aunt Louise to say something gaga like that." B: "Yeah, do you have any idea what she meant by it?" You want to start a business selling bees as pets? Well, that's about the most gaga thing I've ever heard. I know some of my students think my methods are gaga, but I prefer to view them as unorthodox.
4. Senile; mentally unsound. Please promise me that you won't stick me in an old folks' home the moment I start going gaga, OK? Look, I might be old, but that doesn't mean I'm gaga yet! I'm still as sharp as a tack! There's a guy on our corner who shouts about the end of the world; I think he's gaga.
