If the paint is not fully cured, wet sanding can damage the finish.  2. You’ll need fine-grit sandpaper/ sanding sponge (around 400 to 600 grit), water bottle, a soft sponge or cloth, and a clean, lint-free towel.  3. Mist the surface lightly with water   4. Start wet sanding with gentle, circular motions over the brush strokes. Keep the sandpaper wet during the process. The water acts as a lubricant and prevents the sandpaper from clogging.  After achieving the desired smoothness, clean the surface thoroughly to remove any remaining residue. Dry it with a clean, lint-free towel.
