What to do: Clean your tools by wiping with a wet cloth - try not to get any wooden parts too wet. If your tools have wooden handles, rub some oil (we use linseed oil) into them to keep the wood nice. Sand them lightly beforehand if needed. You can get rid of rust by soaking tools in a vinegar and salt solution for about an hour before scrubbing with a wire scourer. To make the vinegar and salt solution: 50/50 vinegar/water with plenty of salt dissolved into it. Sharpen cutting
